Why this podcast?
Hedy and Petra have been friends for many years. They first met at a seminar where Hedy was giving a lecture. They immediately connected because they both have (had) a father who served in the military. They also share many of the same perspectives and have both been passionate about Network Marketing for years.
At the end of November 2025, Petra organized an online event where Hedy was one of the twelve speakers. It was Hedy’s very first online appearance, and it left her wanting more. As a follow-up, she asked Petra if they would like to create a podcast series together about Network Marketing.
Hedy wants to share her knowledge with anyone who feels connected to this business model. She also wants to make it clear that network marketing is a profession that can be learned.
Both of them have given many trainings within Network Marketing, including product knowledge, sales, and personal development.
What can you expect?
In this podcast series, many different topics will be discussed. In the first episodes, they will focus on explaining what Network Marketing is, what it is not, and who it is suitable for. After that, they will go deeper into topics such as:

The episodes will also be enriched with personal stories, especially from Hedy, who has been in the profession for more than 50 years. She has traveled the world, including working alongside Tony Robbins. Today, she considers Eric Worre a personal friend and mentor.
These experiences bring not only knowledge, but also real-life insights from decades within the Network Marketing industry.

Hedy
Hedy is the co-host of this podcast about Network Marketing and brings more than fifty years of experience in the industry.
She has witnessed the development of network marketing up close, from the early days in the 1970s to the industry as it exists today.
Her first introduction to Network Marketing began in 1970 with Amway. In the years that followed, sales remained a common thread throughout her career. It wasn’t until the 1990s that she began to focus more intensively on building teams, recruiting new partners, and mentoring people who wanted to build their own Network Marketing business.
Over the years, Hedy has worked with several companies within the industry. Some businesses grew successfully, while others eventually disappeared, which meant she had to start over more than once. Those experiences gave her deep insight into what does and does not work in network marketing.
Alongside her work in network marketing, Hedy also developed herself in the field of personal growth. She attended trainings, coached others, and discovered that one of her greatest strengths lies in explaining complex concepts in a clear and inspiring way.
What touches her most about this profession are the moments when people truly understand what network marketing can mean for their lives. The spark in their eyes when they begin to see new possibilities, regain hope for a better quality of life, and find the confidence to take their own steps forward.
Together with Petra, Hedy forms the heart of this podcast. While Petra asks the questions and deepens the conversation, Hedy shares her decades of experience, insights, and real-life stories. The result is an honest, nuanced, and mature perspective on network marketing.
Petra
Petra is the co-host of this podcast about Network Marketing. She genuinely believes in the philosophy behind network marketing: by helping others grow, you grow as well.
During her own time in network marketing, she gained experience within several companies. She won multiple awards, delivered trainings, and looks back with pride on special moments, including an all-expenses-paid incentive trip to Morocco that she earned. Because of this, she understands both the opportunities and the dynamics of the profession from the inside.
Alongside her practical experience, Petra was also shaped by personal development. She followed trainings and mentorship with leaders such as Bob Proctor and Les Brown, two well-known names in the fields of mindset, leadership, and personal growth. These influences have further deepened her perspective on entrepreneurship and leadership.
For that reason, she wants to approach this industry differently. No “quick wins,” no “fake it till you make it,” and no exaggerated success stories. According to Petra, building a sustainable network marketing business takes time and the honest story deserves to be told.
What touches her most about this profession is the personal growth that comes with it. For Petra, network marketing is not only about products or teams, but about growth, leadership, and who you become in the process.

Through my personal experience of many years, more than 40 years, in and with network marketing companies, I have met many people. There are always a few who truly stand out because of who they are and the actions they take.
What I find important in this business model is that when you introduce other people to a network marketing company, you take responsibility for helping, teaching, and guiding them. That is what shows whether someone genuinely cares and takes responsibility, rather than being focused only on the large amounts of money that can be earned in this industry.
From the way I have come to know Hedy, which is now more than 15 years ago, I see her as a true “power woman.” She consistently brings the time and patience needed to help others learn and move forward toward where they want to go. Even when companies change their rules or structures, it requires continuous guidance to help people stay on the right path. That takes time and energy, something Hedy has never had a problem giving.
Hedy is a tremendous example, and even the biggest leaders in this industry could learn from her example: that you carry the responsibility to help others grow.
It is wonderful that Hedy is now creating a podcast about this business model, which is often underestimated simply because people do not always understand it. What should not be forgotten is that this business model is deeply connected to continuous self-development and the many learning processes people go through along the way. For that, you need people who take the lead, and Hedy is someone who clearly does that. Through this, people often build new friendships and relationships, both directly and indirectly.
In this industry, you can only truly succeed if you develop a genuine love for your company, your products, and the people who need your help. However, the most important element of all is personal growth.
Hedy, you have already shown in several companies that this principle works time and time again.
